River Rat

We were lucky enough to get an invite to float the San Juan with some friends. Thanks Jeff, Chelsea and Dylan!

We started out on Friday June 17th with the drive from SLC to Bluff, UT. With stops for cheeseburgers at Ray's in Green River and Moab for sundries.

Lunch on the river, Saturday. Looking at the Butler Wash Panel Petroglyphs.

Just like living in a sand box for four days!

We kept trying to get the kids to move to the shade... we finally got wise and moved the shade to the kids.

Day 2 consisted of a major wind storm and a revolt on the side of the river to go no further!

We kept trying to take his PFD off and he would have *NONE* of it!

Many hours were spent happily in the sand.

We ended our wonderful journey 4 days later, 28 miles downriver in Mexican Hat, UT.

Can't wait to do it again!
